City Stages 2009
City Stages is this coming weekend, June 19 – 21. It is held downtown Birmingham Alabama. They actually close off the streets of a busy downtown area and setup stages for performers. This will be my 3rd stages since moving to Birmingham.
My Daughter
My daughter is graduating from High School next Thursday and tonight was awards night. She walked out with
- Birmingham-Southern College – Greensboro Scholarship
- President’s Outstanding Academic Achievement
- National Honor Society
- Honor Graduate – Achieved a grade point average over 4.0
- Certificate of Excellence in Honors Anatomy
- Photography Student of the Year
Celebrities, for real? Or is it hired Twit?
So with the surge of twitter and it becoming the “in” thing. I wanted to take a minute to point out the celebrities that are signing up on twitter. I have no problem or issue with them signing up, as anyone can. The problem I have is the ones with hired Twits? This is growing ridiculous. If you are going to take the time to sign up to our big fail whale, then take the time to be yourself. So i’m calling you all out, if it is really you let us know. If it is not you but someone hired to be you?!?! WTF? Then have them tell us so.
