Boycott Joe Part Duex

Boycott Joe | Zero / Love.

So this is the last time I will mention this, since I don’t like to get political to much on here.  I was listening this morning to Matt Murphy on the radio and he was interviewing Joe Babiasz.  He is the guy that started the “Boycott Alabama Now” website.  In listening to it, I came to a single conclusion… he is nothing more then a puppet for Ron Gettelfinger.

He had nothing intelligent to say.  He was even to a point of speaking that I thought he was running for some office?!?! He spoke in circles and such, and couldn’t answer any one of Mr. Murphy’s questions with a straight answer.

We also shouldn’t forget that Mr. Babiasz also works for the big three and has for several hundred years, if I’m not mistaken.

A good read on all of this is at Boycott Alabama Website Could Backfire for Big 3 Automakers.

Boycott Joe

Boycott Alabama.  So when I first read this crap, I thought “Hey Lets give Michigan to Canada!”  But then I started thinking about it. My mother in law lives up there in Michigan. So yea give it away… but then I thought about it.

Surely not everyone in Michigan can be a complete dope, like this guy. So now I say lets ban together and Boycott Old Joe’s Citizenship. Lets send him to Canada! Expel him to Canada!

Thank you Mr. Shelby for voting as you have. You are my Senator and I’m proud of you! Keep up the good work for all Americans!

What do you think? Should we punish all of Michigan for a single dope? Should we just expel this dope? Let me know, I will follow up soon with the Grass Roots efforts.

Ooops Error, ok I found it funny!

Saturday was a very busy day for my family. My eldest had SAT’s again, my little ones had a choir concert, and then eldest had a dance (Winter Formal). After seeing off the eldest for her dance that evening, I’m thinking finally rest… Then the wife hits me with the dreaded… “I want to go shopping”. So how do I get a Win out of this… easy she says “Lets go to Five Guys and then we can browse Colonial Brookwood Village!”

Of course all I hear is Five Guys, and with that I”m hooked. I’m already thinking of what I’m getting on my burger. By the way next time you go ask for the Cajun Fries not on the menu but they are a good change.

So we are leaving Five Guys heading into the “Browsing” part of our trip, when I notice a car. You know how they put cars in odd places, just to grab your attention. I believe its a form of advertising and it works, well at least for a guy it does. So I noticed this car sitting at the entrance going in.

WordCamp Birmingham

Thats right folks, for the first time in the South. WordCamp is coming to Birmingham, Alabama!

Taken from BarCamp Wiki!

WordCamp Birmingham is an informal gathering of WordPress users where we teach, learn, eat, drink and generally have fun with one another. This would be the first WordCamp in the Southeastern United States; it’s being held in conjunction with the first ever South by Deep South (SxDS) conference and will be occurring at the same time as the 10th annual Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival, the Taste of 4th Avenue Jazz Festival and the opening of a one of a kind exhibit of the work of Leonardo da Vinci in late September.

Leave your stereotype at the gate, and join us in the Heart of Dixie. I know when I moved here 10 years ago, I was amazed they had electricity and running water. Now I’ve fallen in love with the place. The beauty of the state and the amazing culture of people will leave you impressed. There will be something for everyone, and you will find pure southern hospitality.

While you are here we are also having the inaugural South by Deep South (SxDS) an unconfrence of like minds and hearts. Read “It’s a date!” for full the full announcement.

I will see you there!

Update to Zerosource, Bhampulse!

I hope everyone likes the new Zerosource. I took out the Dark black theme and put in one I like better. I also did away with all the advertisment. I’m not really looking to make anything from this, but figured what the hell. Well with anything I’m free to change my mind and therefore I did. No Ads! Not that I won’t tell you about a company I like and or even the company I work for, but no more random Ads. I will continue to write post that interest me and hopefully you.

While i’m writing I also want to say thanks to Birmingham Magazine, thanks for the mention for the Birmingham Pulse in the Article on the current issue August 2008. I recommend you pick it up. It list the Essential Birmingham websites. While my site the Birmingham Pulse is not essential it is mentioned. (Page 86 btw) So go pick up the magazine. Found out from The Terminal of course.

And if you are not a follower and reader of the Birmingham Terminal, let me take this time to tell you this site is Essential! I wish every city I’ve lived in had a group as dedicated to an online forum/magazine as the Terminal does. Thanks Andre Natta and group! Great work, it is a daily read for me.

So let me know, how do you like the new site?
