Zero’s Top 10 Google Services

*in No Particular Order*
  1. AdSense – Earn money from relevant ads on your website or blog
  2. Grand Central - One Number to rule them all, A single Phone number that is customized to reach me where ever I may be. (205) 267-5039.
  3. iGoogle - Custom Start page, can link all your Google service and ad content and widgets from other places.
  4. Webmaster Tools – Things Google has made available for you to use for your website, I use it to verify and make sure my page is getting indexed correctly.
  5. Google Knol – A knol is a unit of knowledge, this is Google’s own Wiki. I have a few knol’s check out Zerolove’s Knol.
  6. Reader - This is a RSS reader that you can take anywhere you have internet access. I use this one on a daily basis to keep up with my feeds.
  7. Analytics - Add a piece of code to your website, and track your visitors. This is one of the best tools available.
  8. FeedBurner - Google has purchased FeedBurner, and this is how I provide Feeds for ZeroSource.Org
  9. Alerts - When something matching your criteria shows up on Google, it will email and let you know. For instance, I have one that says anything *zerosource.org* shows up in a blog email me.
  10. Group Services – These I do not list individually since they are more of what I would call a Group of Services. While they are all great alone, they are better as a group.  Gmail, Docs, Calendar, and Talk.

Of course, Google doesn’t stop there. So I’ll leave you with this list to ponder..

Blogger, Custom Service Engine, Picasa Web Albums, Groups, Google Pages, Goog411, Chrome, Desktop, Maps, and Health. Who knows what those crazy kids at Google will come up with next..
